Alfonso’s troupe will have a presentation on Mar/2nd at the Hammerson Hall in Mississauga.
The dancers of this company stand out for their perfection and coordination in their choreographies. The combination of flamenco and Afro-Cuban rhythms are there to present very unique performances.
Lizt Alfonso created the company in 1991 and have been devoted to train female dancers from a very young age in classical ballet, flamenco and Afro-Cuban dances.
Their art has been recognized in stages and festivals around the world.
Particularly in Canada, the musical “Vida!†featuring Buena Vista Social Club singer Omara Portuondo, was a total success in Toronto, in the spring of 2007. In 2008, the company toured across the country with their show “Fuerza y Compasâ€
