I am officially jobless and homeless. Last night we finally finished packing and said goodbye to our first apartment in Toronto. With all these mixed emotions I didn’t have too much time to think so I am still in the process of getting used to the changes. The only thing I can say is that it feels strange not having a place to return to. But this upcoming months will be more about going and I’m perfectly fine with that.
Early this morning we left Canada. Why wasn’t I surprised when the American custom agent started making funny comments about me being Cuban? Just face it, Americans! You love Cubans as much as they love you and your country! I never get these many comments in Canada. 🙂
Right now our plane is flying over Colorado. I haven’t arrived to my destination yet and already have cool cell pictures. My watch is showing California time and although I am really tired and cannot shut my eyes while flying I am really looking forward to everything coming up today.
We have been so busy that we even didn’t have the time to confirm with our friend that he will be picking us up at the airport.
I suspect that some people on this airplane might be going to the burn but maybe I am just sleepless and my playa dust has washed out for me to sense these things. 🙂
Back to my coffee and my mountain view. The fog is awaiting.
