Bunnett and Duran will be releasing a new CD in Canada and USA on June, 7th, 2011.

All the songs are Cuban classics from the  XIX and XX century except for one original song called “New Danzon”, composed by Duran. I had the opportunity to listen to this theme on a Sunday concert at the university of Toronto’s Hart House, where these two musicians were featuring and had a fantastic performance of Cuban classics.

Some of the tunes recorded are Quirino con su tres, Danza Lucumi and Sherezada. All the songs are very well known to Cubans and lovers of Cuban music but this time we will have a touch of the unique inspiration and improvisation of these two amazing jazz musician who have been collaborating for over two decades.
