We have come to Bristol to visit two Canadian friends who are now a little bit Bristolians too. We are hoping to see as much as we can in one week, rain or shine.

The Megabus ride from Victoria Coach station in London was great and the trip is 7 pounds if you book it in advance.

We had a late Sunday lunch at a cheese shop which has a nice cafe in the back that serves pretty tasty sandwiches. There, I had the chance to try a delicious sparkling drink with elderflower, apparently very popular in UK.

After lunch and until the cold and wind reached our bones we strolled happily around the Clifton area. Our friends took us to the famous Clifton suspension bridge (not as long as the Golden Gate or Bay Bridge in SF but pretty impressive)  and later we finished the day eating several types of cheese, bread and drinking mulled cider at home.
