It seems that I am big yucca fan among some of my friends as every time I meet them for dinner yucca with mojo is a dish they usually prepare for me. 🙂
Yucca is widely consumed in Cuba, specially during the holidays. In Havana, it is more expensive than potatoes or sweet potatoes so Cubans tend to buy potatoes more often to boil and to mix with meat dishes.
I personally like yucca so much that if I see it on the table I continue eating it non stop and forget about the other plates. I like it boiled with mojo on top (mojo is made of lime, garlic, oil and onion) but it can be pretty tasty and crunchy when you fry it.
